If You’re Skilled! Maybe You Are An Expert Gamer

Do you play video games day-in and day-out?

If so you may consider establishing yourself as an Expert Gamer.

A good basic knowledge of a large range of games and gaming systems and one thing which most gamers do have is a lot of patience.

The rewards are extraordinary if you are willing to continue and I believe you will be a better person for it in the end.

Definition Of An Expert

So what is an expert anyway?

Just what is it that qualifies anyone to be an expert on anything?

Since there aren’t any colleges that offer degrees in this genre, we can qualify any gamer as an expert who has the qualities described above.

So if you have the knowledge or the ability to play a game skillfully – and you enjoy solving problems, you could probably claim the rights to an expert status.

Knowledge

As the gaming industry continues to grow you must advance with it, keep up to date.

A true expert in any field is always the first to admit they are always willing to learn more.

By indulging yourself and playing new games and checking out new game systems, you an opportunity to increase your level of knowledge.

Learning and being able to adapt to new gaming strategies will widen your creativity as you begin your road to success as an Expert Gamer.

Networking

Learn by association and work together with like minded people, who are willing to share their knowledge as long as you are willing to reciprocate.

You need to take a break from the games and get out into the public so that you can network with other gamers.

The power of networking is often overlooked it gives you some great opportunities to share or swap secrets, teach others, and learn and believe me you will always learn a little something new at the same time.

These types of relationships become invaluable and your results as an Expert Gamer will stand out as a result.

It is definitely the best way to gain access to little known gaming secrets when you network with the top gamers around.

An Expert Gamer

If you’re really serious about becoming an Expert Gamer, take yourself to the next level by taking some classes in game programming.

You could even consider an apprenticeship offering training programs in your local area in fact anywhere in the gaming industry to increase your knowledge.

In this way you learn as much as possible about gaming, and it will help give you a leg into the gaming industry, of course that will depend on how much you believe in yourself and what you want to achieve if you want a full time gaming career.

Go online join discussion groups on different games not only the ones you like, subscribe to Gaming Mags, even your local Library will have a section on gaming material, don’t limit yourself.

Critics

In every industry you will come across critics, even in the gaming industry, especially once you are considered an Expert gamer.

Strong rhetoric, can be directed at you and what you are, these self proclaimed and glorified know all’s, believe so much in themselves they become self righteous and believe they are and know the “answer to everything.”

True critics will give you reasons why they believe in what they are saying and in most cases make non bias comments.

Take all critics with a grain of salt and move on don’t be enticed into their world, there is nothing to gain from it at all.

Jealousy has always been a reason for some critics, not all thankfully, others just want to put you to the test and see how much you really do know or maybe don’t know.

Maintain your confidence, belief and continue to improve, you don’t need to prove anything to them only yourself.

A truly Expert Gamer looks beyond what these critics have to say right or wrong.
Also an Expert Gamer will just continue to constantly look for ways to improve their knowledge and share that knowledge.

Paul’s Comments

Experts in any field or endeavour will struggle if they are sucked into a critic’s point of view, many knowledgeable people have fallen by the way sadly for that one reason, that they cannot accept criticism.

Self belief in your knowledge combined with a certain amount of love for what you do will always win.
Stay focused, do what you enjoy and success will be yours!

Have A Fun Gaming Day!
